Unchild is a brand new K-Pop girl group. They debuted on April 21, 2026 with the single album “We Are Unchild.” They are a multinational girl group formed by High Up Entertainment. There are six members in the group, Yeeun, Heekie, Tina, Ako, Evon, and Haeun. All of them are ages 17-20.

         Unchild’s group concept is “Freaky punk” that rejects standardized idol images. They are described as rule-breakers. The name uses the prefix “un-” to represent breaking fixed molds. They are aiming for an energetic image that merges punk-school aesthetics with electric, garage inspired pop music.

         On April 1, 2026, High Up Entertainment opened all of the Unchild social media accounts, posting sneak peaks of the song and the members. The group gained rapid popularity, with their TikTok account already having 1.6 million followers.  On April 20, 2026, the official fan name was announced as “Chacha”, along with the fan song “Chacha song”.

         All of the members of Unchild are very talented and hardworking, they have a lot of potential to be something big as a group, and they are already on their way. Them being unique and not following k-pop trends will allow them to stand out and grow an even bigger fan base.
