Maya Pak is a bright junior attending Manchester High School. As she prepares for her last year, I sat down with Maya to discuss her journey and what her future is looking like after she graduates Manchester next year. 

Maya is a well organized student that stands out in the classroom showing her consistent high levels of work ethic everyday; striving to be the best she can be for herself and her peers. She is the one to look at for a perfect role model for others. Teachers describe her as a natural when teaching her about new material. Maya knows how to learn quickly and efficiently. In times of doubt, Maya knows how to keep pushing. “There are times where I feel drained and just tired from everything, but I remind myself what’s ahead of me. I tell myself I’m doing great and all the effort I’m putting forward is building my foundation for my future.” 

Maya has her eyes set on attending Virginia Commonwealth University. She wants to study in the school of business and pursue accounting. Her ultimate goal is to graduate into a professional accounting role, a path that suits her in every way. Her dedication has put her in a position proving she is ready for anything coming her way! As Maya finishes her junior year and prepares for college applications, she will continue to work hard and remain a standout student at Manchester.
