Ado is a very popular J-pop singer that is represented by the artist management company, Cloud Nine. She is very skilled, and she has worked extremely hard to get where she is now. She has some upcoming shows in May and June, one being in the United States, and the other two in Japan.  Her most recent song is “”AiAiA,” being released on March 20, 2026.

Ado was born on October 24th, 2002 in Tokyo, Japan. She is 23 years old. She debuted in 2017 with her hit song “Usseewa”. The song peaked at number 1 on Billboard Japan Hot 100. The song reached 100 million plays after only 17 weeks of charting, which was the sixth fastest in history and made her the youngest to achieve the milestone as a solo singer. The genres of songs that she makes are mainly J-pop, rock, electronic, and dance.

Ado has never revealed her face before, when she has live performances she uses a bright screen behind the stage so people can only see her silhouette. This was until Feb 24, 2026, when the biography Vivarium: Ado and Me was released. A song was also released with it, “Vivarium,” which serves as a tie-in for the biography. The music video for “Vivarium” was released on Feb 28, which shows several scenes where her face is mostly unobscured. This was a big deal for fans because nobody has ever seen Ado’s face before.

Ado has made many incredible achievements, like her 2025 Hibana world Tour, which has been credited as the largest global tour by a Japanese artist. Then, in July 2025, she was ranked as the most-streamed Japanese artist outside of Japan in Spotify’s mid-year rankings. Nearly 80% of her streams come from outside of Japan, which ended Yoasobi’s four-year streak in that position. Ado is extremely talented, and has made many more achievements than just these few.
