The Lady Lancers team has suffered a tough schedule update with the ice storm that came through Virginia. The ice storm has cancelled a week and a half of their games and practices which was 8 practices and 5 games. “This break will test us mentally and physically if we want it bad enough,” said Madison Smith.
The Lancers have been really locked in this season and hope to get back on track despite the setback from the weather. Coming off a loss in the state championship game the Lady Lancers plan to come back for revenge and win it all. “Losing last year taught me a lot because looking back and understanding what was wrong and being able to come back and fix those holes in our team is really special and gives me confidence we can go back and win this time,” said Mya Adkinson.
