The Manchester Softball team is now halfway through the season and they believe after exceeding expectations starting 7-3 they can continue doing so. “After 10 games I feel the most confident I have ever felt in my high school career and this team is special,” said Emma, starting hitter and fielder. This is the Lancers turning point of being the best they can be going into the playoffs. The second half of the season is always the most important and the Lancers schedule favors them these next 10 games. 

The turning point in the season is always the most important for teams to succeed in the playoffs. “You can feel the different change of energy, passion, and effort from our team going into the second half of the season,” said Emma. When I asked the team how they feel about going into this part of the season, they all responded with great energy saying, “we feel good.” If there’s any team you want to support going into the end of the season, it’s gonna be the Lancers.
