As an incoming freshman, Aubrie has expressed so far she is enjoying her first year at Manchester. Coming from a strict middle school, the freedom she has now is something she looks forward to everyday. She gets to see her friends more often and has more time during lunch to chat. 

I asked Aubrie what her experience has been with her goals, her motivation, and all the negative and positive moments. Aubrie responded, “ I want my grades to be good and I want to play for the girls basketball team this season. Basketball is motivating me to do my work and attend basketball practice. I have many friends on the basketball team and the practices are fun, unless we’re doing a difficult workout.” 

Aubrie is planning on playing for the basketball team this year.  This motivates her to stay on top of her work.  She attends practices everyday to show her best skills and prove she is a valuable teammate. After interviewing Aubrie, I found her to be positive, passionate, and dedicated.  She embodies what it means to be a hardworking Lancer.  We look forward to seeing where these years take you!
