Sasha Medina is a sophomore at Manchester high in her second year of journalism. She is the editor for international and national news. She is in the Manchester Mass Communications program. Her favorite thing in the whole world is Jeff Buckley and his music. She is also a huge fan of movies. Her favorite movies are; Apocalypse Now, Requiem for a Dream, Scream, Mission Impossible and Mr Nice Guy. Other than movies, she’s a huge fan of reading. Her favorite authors are Franz Kafka and Fyodor Dostoevsky. In her free time, Sasha likes to take naps, bother her parents and listen to music. Sasha firmly believes in the Franz Kafka quote: “Don’t bend; don’t water it down; don’t try to make it logical; don’t edit your own soul according to the fashion. Rather, follow your most intense obsessions mercilessly.”
