The end of the year is coming fast and seniors are ready to graduate! I spoke to Elora Heckle, a senior attending Manchester High School as an active cheerleader. I interviewed her and asked a couple questions about her future and what her plans are after graduation.
Elora expressed that she wants to go to Virginia Commonwealth University in the fall. It’s close to home and in the city that she knows best! She is planning on majoring in social work and possibly chemistry to pursue her interest in child protective services. While attending VCU, Elora wants to try out and join the Stomp and Shake team they have.
After learning a bit about Elora’s future plans and where she wants to go after high school, I asked for some advice she would give to the incoming freshman.
“Get involved, join a sport or club. You can build friendships and valuable relations within your sport or club. Really focus on your grades, but also remember this is the most memorable time of your life and have fun”
