I recently went to watch the Eras Tour Movie by Taylor Swift. It grossed over 125 million dollars worldwide and it broke box office records. It got 99% on rotten tomatoes and 8.3/10 on IMDB.
To watch it, I did not go to the movie theater, so I didn’t experience the concert and singing type atmosphere some others did in theaters, and instead, opted for a drive in.
The tour they filmed for the movie was at the SoFi stadium in Inglewood, California. The set list contained eight songs from Midnights, six songs from Folklore, five songs from Lover, four songs from Evermore, Red, 1989, and Reputation, respectively, three songs from Fearless, two songs from Enchanted, one song from the debut album. I thought the setlist was amazing.
From what I observed, people mostly sang Fearless and Reputation songs. I was incredibly excited for this movie, singing along to most of the songs with the crowd. However, I fell asleep during the All Too Well (Ten Minute Version) as I was very tired.
Overall, the movie had me singing, shoving my face with popcorn, running around, and watching attentively, as it was very fascinating to watch. I would suggest this to Taylor Swift fans, or concert-lovers.
