As a regular patron of McDonald’s, I was excited to hear about the return of the Shamrock Shake. The shake, which is only available from late February until March 17th, is McDonald’s special way of celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day. I was eager to see if it lived up to my expectations.

The Shamrock Shake is a vibrant mint green color, which immediately put me in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit. It’s made with McDonald’s signature vanilla soft serve, blended with a sweet, minty syrup, and topped with whipped cream.

The first sip of the Shamrock Shake practically melted my teeth from how sweet it was. I was momentarily taken aback before I was able to comprehend the delightful minty flavor.
